It’s an exciting time for the Trucking team as our newly purchased Freightliner & Volvo equipment begins to arrive. After a pause in purchasing over the past year or so, we are ready to cycle out some older equipment and bring in the next generation of trucks.
Our new sleeper trucks include the latest Volvo VNL and Freightliner Cascadia models, both featuring major upgrades in appearance, comfort, and functionality. One of the biggest improvements is the transition from traditional air release valves to electric-over-air controls. These new systems add important safety features designed to help prevent truck rollways and other unsafe driving behaviors. Additional upgrades include expanded blind-spot detection on the Volvos that extends all the way to the rear of the trailer, heated headlights on the Freightliners, and a sleek new exterior facelift on both truck models.
These trucks will enter service in early 2026 alongside 40 new 2026 Wabash trailers. Be on the lookout for the fresh new rides and some awesome upgrades hitting the road soon.
